KingsHill City Church

Our Statements of Faith details what we believe as Kingshill City Church. We welcome you to join us to explore what the Bible says about these statements and why we hold unto them dearly as people of faith looking forward to the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

About us

Our Statements of Faith

The Holy Scriptures

We believe the Bible is God-inspired (II Timothy 3:16, 17). It is inerrant, infallible and is the final authority on everything pertaining to the Christian faith.

Salvation Through Grace

We believe that mankind has no righteousness in himself and must come to God accepting and pleading the righteousness of Christ (Ephesians 2:8, 9).

Repentance & Acceptance

We believe that upon sincere repentance, and a whole-hearted acceptance of Christ, we are justified before God (Luke 24:46, 47; II Timothy 2:24-26; I John 1:9).

The Plan of Redemption

We believe that God the Father instituted His plan to redeem mankind to Himself, sent God the Son to execute that plan and God the Holy Spirit to seal up and confirm that plan in the life of each person that believes. We believe that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us, purchasing the forgiveness and redemption of all who believe in Him (John 3:16; Romans 5:8).

The Eternal Godhead

We believe God is triune: Father, Son and Holy Spirit (II Corinthians 13:14). This does not mean that there are three Gods, but that THE SAME ONE TRUE AND ONLY WISE GOD REVEALS HIMSELF AND RELATES TO MANKIND IN THREE EQUAL PERSONS IN ONE just like a human being is composed of the body, soul and spirit in the same one person.

The Fall of Man

We believe that baptism by immersion is an outward sign of an inward work of regeneration completed by Christ Jesus in the heart of an individual (Matthew 28:19, 20). We believe in the commemoration of the Lord’s Supper by the symbolical use of the bread and juice of the vine as instituted by the Lord Jesus Christ Himself(I Corinthians 11:24, 25).

The Spirit-Filled Life

We believe that it is the will of God that we walk in the Spirit daily (Ephesians 4:30-32).

Daily Christian Life

We believe that it is the will of God that we be sanctified daily, growing constantly in the faith (Hebrews 6:1).

Divine Healing

We believe that divine healing is the power of Christ to heal the sick in answer to the prayer of faith (James 5:14-16).

Baptism of The Holy Spirit

We believe that the baptism of the Holy Spirit is to endow the believer with God’s power; and that His incoming is after the same manner as in Bible days (Acts 2:4). This is a subsequent event that follows salvation and is the promise of God to every believer.

The New Birth

We believe that the change which takes place in the heart and life at conversion is a very real one (2 Corinthians 5:17; Galatians 2:20). This New Birth returns mankind to his original status of sonship in God (John 1:12)

The Gifts & Fruit of The Holy Spirit

We believe that the Holy Spirit has spiritual gifts for the Christian; and that believers should show spiritual fruit as evidence of a Spirit-filled life (I Corinthians 12:1-11; Galatians 5:22, 23).

Moderation

We believe that the experience and daily walk of the believer should never lead him into extremes of fanaticisms (Philippians 4:5; James 5:19, 20).

Civil Government

We believe that every government is of the Lord and those in authority should be honored and obeyed at all times except in things opposed to the will of God (Romans 13:1-5).

The Second Coming of Christ

We believe that the second coming of Christ is personal and imminent (I Thessalonians 4:16, 17).

Baptiasm & The Lord's Supper

We believe that man was created in the image and likeness of God, thus making man a son of God with all the attendant glory and perfection. But by voluntary disobedience, man lost his sonship, fell short of God’s glory and became imperfect by nature (Romans 5:12, 19).

Evangelism

We believe that soul-winning is the most important duty of the Church and is the Great Commission given to every believer (Acts 1:8; 8:4-8, Matthew 28:19-20).

Judgement

We believe that all mankind shall stand some day before the judgement seat of God; and there receive eternal life or death (Romans 2:1-16; II Corinthians 5:10).

Heaven

We believe that heaven is the glorious eternal home of born-again believers (John 14:1-3; Revelation 7:15-17).

Hell

We believe that hell is the place of eternal torment for all who reject Jesus Christ as the only Savior (Revelation 20:10-15).

Church Relationship

We believe it is our sacred duty to identify ourselves with the visible church of Christ (Acts l6:5; Hebrews 10:24, 25).

Tithes & Offerings

We believe that the method ordained by God for the support and spread of His Kingdom work on earth is through the giving of tithes and free-will offerings. (Malachi 3:10; II Corinthians 9:6-15). We do not pledge. We do not borrow. Our God supplies all our needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Revelation 5:9-10

kings & priests

“And they sang a new song, saying ‘You are worthy to take the scroll, And to open its seals; For You were slain, And have redeemed us to God by Your blood out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation.'”

This heavenly vision reveals the cosmic significance of Christ’s redemptive work. Through His blood, He has redeemed people from every corner of the earth—including you.

“And have made us kings and priests to our God; And we shall reign on the earth.”

This is your present reality. You are not waiting for heaven to receive your authority. Right now, in this present age, you are a king with dominion and a priest with intercession power. You reign on the earth with Christ’s backing and authority.

Your dual calling is to exercise authority in your circumstances and to intercede for others with the power of heaven supporting your prayers. This is not pride or presumption—it is your rightful place as a child of God.

Your Identity

Full purpose

You are more than what circumstances dictate. You are more than what the world tells you. You are Salt, Light, and Royalty in God’s kingdom.

You are Salt. Your presence preserves goodness and adds flavor to a flavorless world. Your life matters and makes a difference.

You are Light. Your life illuminates truth and guides others toward God’s kingdom. Don’t dim your light or hide your faith.

You are a City on a Hill. You cannot hide your true nature—and you shouldn’t. Your transformation is meant to be visible and inspiring.

You are a King and a Priest. You have authority over your circumstances and the ability to intercede with heaven’s power backing your prayers.

We invite you to discover His realms of glorious inheritance. Come and explore what it means to Live Sweeter, Shine Brighter, Rise Higher, and Reign Glorious to the glory of God. This is your identity. This is your calling.

Matthew 5:13-16

Salt & Light

“You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.”

In biblical times, salt was incredibly precious. It preserved food, enhanced flavor, and was even used as currency. When Jesus declares you are the salt of the earth, He affirms that your life has intrinsic worth and preserving power.

“You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.”

Your light is meant to be visible and transformative. You cannot hide your true nature as a believer—nor should you want to. Your good works should be evident to all, pointing people toward God’s glory.

“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”

This is your calling: to live in such a way that your faith is visible, your integrity is undeniable, and your impact points others toward the Kingdom of God.
